Barbara Siegel is the Deputy Director of VLP, overseeing LSC compliance issues and VLPs case processing systems. Barbara managed a Technology Initiative Grant (TIG) to develop massprobono.org, a statewide pro bono website for Massachusetts. For the past two years she has been working on a TIG to re-design massprobono and the Pro Bono Net platform for use on mobile devices. Barbaras legal career began in 1989 with a clerkship in the Massachusetts Appeals Court and an associate position in a law firm. In 1992, she entered legal aid and has not looked back. Prior to joining VLP, she served as a senior staff attorney at the Disability Law Center and Assistant Legal Director at the Community Legal Services and Counseling Center. Barbara is a graduate of Brown University (B.A. Anthropology 1982) and Boston College Law School (JD 1989).
