This session will focus on the basics of building custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps with Microsoft Flow and SharePoint to automate internal and/or external processes. Using free non-profit licenses, attendees will be shown how to generate simple and complex applications for desktops, mobile devices, and embedded SharePoint pages. Backed with the logic processes of Microsoft Flow, attendees will learn how to carry out an array of repetitive processes and request approvals for tasks, offering another level of continuity and communication between departments, staff, and clients. Attendees will learn how to obtain survey data, set up simple and complex data collections, and interact with outside programs via REST API’s, such as Twilio and LegalServer. Because of its similarities to Microsoft Excel, writing applications is simple, but powerful. Anyone who knows Excel, knows PowerApps and Flow.
