Reliable, safe web services are often critical to an organization’s effectiveness. This session will help attendees understand the methods used for encryption, security, and redundancy in cloud applications. Attendees will learn from hands-on experts how to evaluate the services they want to assess or purchase and what is needed to host web services with confidence. Panelists will discuss the nuts and bolts behind finding web services that are resilient, fast, and accessible wherever and whenever needed. Panelists will describe current methods and myths regarding encryption and security practices, such as multi-factor authentication, backup and recovery methods, health monitoring, and disaster recovery.
