Drupal developers and organizations that use or are considering using Drupal should make sure to attend this interactive session. Attendees will learn about updates and advancements in using Drupal in legal services, share updates on their projects, and collaborate with the Drupal community. Abhijeet Chavan will outline the new features and improvements in DLAW 7, including SEO and accessibility refinements. DLAW (Drupal for Legal Aid Websites) is a Drupal distribution for building public information websites. DLAW development is supported by LSC Technology Initiative Grants. Panelists will discuss migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8, share some of the challenges and lessons along the way, and will survey tools that make that process easier. The session will highlight the custom Federal Poverty Guidelines module and Illinois Legal Aid Online’s product roadmap and their recent and upcoming work around process-driven user experiences, personalization, and AI-driven triage and intake.
