One of the most practical methods to improve access to justice is to provide self-help online forms. In this session, attendees will learn about toolsets anyone can use to create attractive and user-friendly forms. This session was inspired by two projects that utilized no-code platforms to develop online forms. The team developing Florida Name Change needed a toolset that would allow them to quickly create 40+ guided interviews that populate fill-in-the-blank forms and found the perfect solution in an integrated toolset of Typeform, Zapier, and Webmerge. Since the
FloridaNameChange.org website launched in March 2018, over 4,500 forms have been filled out. HelpSelf Legal decided to engineer its own solution: an intuitive document assembly platform for technophobes. HelpSelf’s interface allows anyone to craft guided interviews and map questions to fields in court forms.
